These Terms of Use govern your use of the Visual Scales app (“the app”).

The app is developed and operated by Visual Theory Limited.

By downloading or using Visual Scales, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

 

2. Use of the App

Visual Scales is a music education app designed to help users learn and understand music theory through visual methods.

You agree to:

• Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only

• Not misuse, copy, modify, or reverse engineer the app

• Not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the app’s functionality

 

3. No Account Required

Visual Scales does not require account creation.

• A random nickname may be generated for leaderboard use

• You may optionally choose your own nickname

You are responsible for any nickname you use and must not use offensive, misleading, or inappropriate names.

 

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features of the app may require a paid subscription (“Visual Scales Pro”).

• Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play

• We do not collect or store payment details

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled

• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your app store account

 

5. Intellectual Property

All content within Visual Scales, including:

• Visual systems and educational concepts

• Graphics, design, and interface

• Branding and app content

…is owned by Visual Theory Limited.

You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce any part of the app without permission.

 

6. User Content (Support Messages)

If you submit feedback or support messages:

• You grant us permission to use that feedback to improve the app

• You should not include sensitive personal information

 

7. App Availability

We aim to keep Visual Scales running smoothly, but:

• The app may be updated, changed, or improved at any time

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation

 

8. Limitation of Liability

Visual Scales is provided “as is”.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

• Any loss of data

• Any indirect or consequential damages

• Any issues arising from use of the app

 

9. Termination

We may restrict or suspend access to the app if:

• These Terms are violated

• The app is misused

 

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
